Zyntha Consulting (Reg. No.: 2017/102604/07), previously operating as Jaco-K Consulting (Pty) Ltd, was established in 2008 by the Director and CEO, Jaco Kleynhans as a closed corporation but was changed to a private company in 2017. Restructuring of the company was done in March 2019 to bolster expertise and to align the company with industry expectations. As part of this process Anthony Davis and Gillian Nhlapo became co-owners. They were also appointed as directors and together with Jaco Kleynhans form the board of directors of this company.
Based in Middelburg Mpumalanga, the company is focused on delivering quality work regarding all environmental management aspects of our clients. Although our focus has mainly been mining related, environmental management services can be delivered to all sectors in South Arica and abroad.
Our mission is to ensure that clients receive expert advice on best practice environmental planning, combined with the reassurance of legislative compliance. Environmental Engineering and Environmental Planning
As part of the services offered, we advise clients on the best layouts for their proposed developments, whether certain laws will restrict some developments and how to find alternative ways of obtaining authorisation. Examples of this service include:
- Mine and beneficiation plant area layouts including placement of infrastructure.
- Developing concepts for all water management infrastructure.
- Assist in obtaining engineering designs in the areas for infrastructure such as pollution control dams or slurry dams.
Operational services
Other services rendered include the ongoing day-to-day tasks at sites requiring environmental overseeing, guidance, advice, and conducting certain services.
Environmental Monitoring and Reporting:
- Dust, surface water and groundwater sampling (conducted by SANAS Accredited Laboratory) which can also include data capturing, analysis, reporting to client and reporting to relevant Departments.
- Bio-monitoring.

- Development and updating of Environmental Management Systems.
- Audit on monitoring undertaken to ensure that samples are collected in a sound and scientific manner.
- Development and updating of Integrated Water and Waste Management Plans including Rehabilitation Strategy and Implementation Plan.

- Environmental audits as required in terms of NEMA (Auditing of environmental authorisations, environmental management programmes and closure plans).
